Worldview Conference

I wish everyone we know could have been with Carl, Whitney, and me on November 14th at the Worldview Conference in Richmond.  We took Suzette to several when she was a teenager, and now it’s Whitney’s turn!  Both girls love the conferences.  Carl and I feel they have greatly added to the solid foundation we receive at our wonderful church, where our pastor rightly divides the Word of Truth. (2 Timothy 2:15)

Brannon Howse, the man behind these conferences, is someone who will not even think of compromising the truth of the Bible.  Under heavy public persecution, he travels the country, revealing to God’s people the underlying stream of change that is taking place in the church and in America, and encourages us as Christians to boldly and with love live out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20).

In addition to hearing Brannon speak two exceptional messages, we also heard Usama Dakdok, an Egyptian American who has extensively studied the Islam religion.  He showed us an accurate translation of the Qur’an, and the evil that is taught within its pages.  It is not and never can be a peaceful religion.  Usama speaks out to educate Christians and Americans.  His ministry is to love Muslims and see them saved.

We usually purchase a few DVDs or books at each conference we attend, with the purpose of building a worldview library for our family.  This time we purchased a set of 5 DVDs recorded this year, and are looking forward to watching them as a family.

If you can find a conference in your area, we strongly encourage you to make time to go.  There is no charge.

God’s Word

Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. --Jeremiah 6:16
